When an document is indexed using
Drag 'n' Drop,
Send To or
MS Office
the user must primarily choose the index template.
These are displayed using the Document Indexing Interface.
The
manual templates are displayed at the
top of the screen and the
point 'n'
click index templates at the bottom.
In the example below; 'Correspondence'
and 'Property Tree Index' are point 'n' click index templates; the rest are manual
templates.
The previously accessed index template is selected as the default by the
system.
Users will only be shown templates for which the have
indexing
privileges for the related
Document Type.
If the user has access to only one template then the 'Index Choices' interface will not
be shown and the user will be taken directly to the relevant indexing routine.
If the user clicks 'Default to the selected template' then the 'Index Choices' interface will subsequently not
be shown and the user will be taken directly to the relevant indexing routine.
