Index a spreadsheet
- Select the
e4DM icon from the tool bar to index a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must have been
previously saved in order for this function to work. The
e4DM Index routines are then instigated. - Select the e4DM Index option from the menu bar to index a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must have been previously saved in order for this function to work. The e4DM Index routines are then instigated.
View Documents associated with spreadsheet data
- Select the
e4DM View icon from the tool bar to view images associated with a spreadsheet. - A sub-screen will appear if excel doclink templates have been created.
- The user will be prompted to use the current highlighted excel data or a particular column as the source for the document search.
- The required template needs selecting.
- Upon clicking the Find Documents button documents will either be displayed immediately via SoftView, or in a folder structure grouping the index data.
- The folder structure will only be displayed if a tree view intercept has been assigned in the template.
