Volumes and their Permissions
Current Volume:  
The final resting place of documents. These are copied here by the server from the 'Index Out Volume' volume. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users. Read only permissions to need to be allotted for all other users.

Current Overview:
The final resting place of any overviews created by the system. These are copied here by the server from the  'Index Out Volume' volume. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users. Read only permissions to need to be allotted for all other users.

Index In Volume:
Not Used. Reserved for future reference. Read only permissions to need to be allotted for all users.

Index Out Volume:
Indexed documents waiting to be spread are stored here. Index stations copy images to this area. Server routines copy from and remove images from here. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users. Read/Write permissions need to be allotted index users (including drag & drop users). Read only permissions to need to be allotted for all other users.

Batch In Volume:
Batch area used to store scanned images awaiting indexation. Full permissions need to be allotted to scan and index users.

OCR In Volume:
Not Used. Reserved for future reference. Read only permissions to need to be allotted for all users. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users only.

OCR Work Volume:
Used by Server routines and index users for temporary storage. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users, and index users (including drag & drop users).

Spread Error Volume:
Used by server routines during spreading. Full permissions need to be allotted to e4DM server routine users only.
